.Shine.Above.These.Haters.

All 3 of my bros; Kev, Bob & Rell, its sad when I can picture them all in these. I'm feeling them. Especially the black rimmed one. This is a follow up on the Mykita '09 F/W collection and the sharing and help of the avant-grande designer Bernhard Willhelm. Check out the dope collabo between the two blessing us with the new and improved 24K gold coated lenses. Its said the original collection was based off of the '76 Winter Olympics. Niccceeeeee. Both styles are retailed about $800.

Adam Kimmel Welder Sunglasses

I've always wondered why round sunglasses never quite caught on like its wayfarer and aviator cousins. Just like Spike Lee, I've always had a soft spot for a round pair of specs and it looks like Adam Kimmel does as well with his new tortoise shell Welder sunglasses ($334) developed in collaboration with French Optical company, Selima Optique. Check it out Here

Under the leadership of Christophe Decarnin, Balmain has again captured the attention of the fashion world with his signature aesthetic, combining high-energy Parisian style with a strong silhouette, catapulting the prestigious French couture house in a bolder, more contemporary direction. Balmain collaborates with Oliver Peoples, the Los Angeles-based eyewear design company, to create its first eyewear designs: two (2) Limited Edition sunglass styles to be introduced Spring of 2010.
Consistent with the 2010 Balmain collections, the bold, unisex styles reflect sleek, contemporary design elements and feature exaggerated teardrop lenses in a comfortable, face-fitting wrap. The Balmain I is a rock-n-roll-inspired, mixed-media style crafted with a smooth metal top bar fastened by four screws against the acetate-enclosed lenses to provide the illusion of a frame front. The temples include a flexible hinge that allows for greater bendable movement. This version will be available in solid black and a black/silver combination. The Balmain II is an inventive interpretation of the classic double-bridge aviator. The pronounced, slightly thicker top bar creates a more distinctive look, while retaining the signature styling. Available in gold or silver, this version is available in two sizes and flatters most faces.
Both Limited Edition Oliver Peoples for Balmain designs will retail for $595. Balmain I will be in stores March/April and Balmain II will follow later this year.

Tiffany Releases Audrey Hepburn-Inspired Sunglasses

The new Tiffany Charms sunglasses are classic and chic with an oversized design that calls Audrey Hepburn to mind, and they come with a little something extra charming: actual charms.

True purists can get them in black and Tiffany blue, but we love the double laminated violet and candy pink combo above (rich brown with red is also available). Lenses are available in gray or brown and violet gradient. The charms include a heart, the letter "T" and the Tiffany & Co. logo. First bracelets, then necklaces (in the 80s), and now you'll find charms on everything from your cell phone to your handbag. To purchase a pair of these fanciful, chichi shades, visit ILORI($320).

TRANSFORM_ya!

These glasses are sooo poppin to me ! What about yall ? These are the Blow sunglasses by Dior, they were released last April sometime. They're available in 500 limited pieces worldwide ! Chris Brown who I believe has a cute sense of fly, is one of the many celebs in Hollywood’s music industry who is rockin' them. He steezed on these Hethens with the Dior Blow Homme sunglasses in his "I Can Transform Ya" video. He rocked them well might I say with a touch of his bad boy image which just made these pair of sunglasses his perfect match. The specs are pretty hard to pull-off and pair with the usual outfits that guys wear, gotta know what your doing fellas ! Just from the bloggers note people for those of you who are interested in trying to cop these, BE AWARE, you should expect a sudden price increase due to its scarcity.

rememberLEGOS?!

Is this not funny ? Its crazy 'cause i would wear them ! (lol) Sunglasses = cool. Lego = nerdy. Combining the two would seem to be a recipe for.......UN-COOLNESS ! But in reality, the combo actually works, and the universal clock continues to tick. Rock 'em out ! Lego teamed up with French optical company Lynx Optique to create these sweet Lego sunglasses that feature Lego bricks on the sides. You could build whatever you want on them depending on your mood. Designing your own fashion just like designing your own toys. We need this Lego sensibility in more places dont you think ?
