EYEWEAR: Linda Farrow x Yohji Yamamoto Prototype Sunglasses

Related Posts with Thumbnails

Yohji Yamamoto Inc. has teamed up with Linda Farrow to release 'Prototype," their debut line of sunglasses together. The styles are functional, unadorned and represent the hand tooled and unfinished character of a prototype- before the design goes into mass production.

The 'Prototype' sunglasses have a basic frame with a magnetically attached second pair of brushed metal frames in a contrasting colorway that can be taken on and off. Shown here are the black frame and green lens with a dull bronze and graduated pink frame attachment (which makes for a smoky grey lens when worn together). It is also available in an amber frame and lens with a dull bronze and graduated pink frame attachment (which makes for an amber lens when worn together).
