Black Embellished Sandal from Vionnet’s 2010 Spring collection. The House of Vionnet was started in 1912 by Madeleine Vionnet. Before introducing the bias cut to the fashion world Madeleine trained with Callot Soeurs and Jacques Doucet. Madam Vionnet also introduced new materials such as crepe de chine, gabardine and satin. After her death in 1975 the fashion house passed thru different owners and is today owned by the Marzotto Group in Italy.
